Cast Spotlight: Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

PETER SAIDE will be making his NC Theatre debut as "My what a guy, that Gaston." He proudly trained and hails from Queensland, Australia. Peter has been a part of the international tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Prince). He has also played the character of Gaston before at the Ogunguit Playhouse/ Sacramento Music Circus. A few of  his favorite credits include: the Las Vegas production of Jersey Boys (Gaudio), Skin Tight (Tom), and Death for FiveVoices (Fabrizio)..Regional: Hair (Berger), Mamma Mia! (Sam) , Death Takes A Holiday (Death/ Surki), Sense and Sensibility (Willoughby), Oklahoma! MATTHEW SIMPKINS is taking on the role of LeFou. The last time he was at NC Theatre he played the role of Noah Claypole in Oliver and he is thrilled to be back here! Naional tour and regional credits include: Beauty and The Beast (LeFou), Camelot with Robert Goulet, West Side Story, Gypsy, Sound of Music (u/s Rolf), Hello Dolly (Barnaby), Grease (Doody) and Barnum. Matt is also the co founder of the NYC based production company, On The Rocks Films,that works with cinematography and photography.
 
 
 
LAMONT WADE is playing the role of Maurice in our upcoming production and we are thrilled to have him back at NC Theatre for the 12th time! Past favorite roles include: Annie Get Your Gun (Col. Buffalo Bill Cody), The Music Man (Mayor Shinn), Camelot (King Pellinore),and Ragtime (J.P. Morgan). Lamont is also married with two children.
