Cast Spotlight: OUR TOWN

The North Carolina Theatre Conservatory  Acting Summer Theatre Arts School proudly presents Thornton Wilder's Pultizer-Prize winning, Our Town.  Our Town is a landmark in American drama that tells the story of a small town, Grover's Corners, New Hampshire.Throughout various characters in this small town, Wilder delivers universal truths about what it means to be human. This play offers humor, wit, and exceptionally powerful storytelling.  There will be 18 conservatory students performing various roles within the play. Our Town will be showing August 11-13, at the Conservatory Theatre. We will be highlighting each conservatory student over a series of "Cast Spotlight: Our Town". Today's cast members are Olivia Crawford, Dalton Forster, and Austin Harger. 
 
OLIVIA CRAWFORD will be performing as an Ensemble cast member. She is a sophomore and is so grateful to be part of her first performance at NC Theatre Conservatory. She has participated in Cardinal Gibbon’s Summer Spotlight Acting Camp for six years, her most recent role being Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof Jr
 
DALTON FORSTER will be starring as Mr.Webb. He is very excited to be in this production of Our Town. His most recent productions include Hairspray (Fender), As You Like It (Oliver), Disney’s High School Musical (Troy Bolton), and Eurydice (Little Stone). Recent classes at the Conservatory include Film &TV Performance, Acting Methods, and Theatre4Change. 
 
AUSTIN HARGER will be playing the roles of Constable Warren, Joe Stoddard, and a Baseball Player. He is a rising sophomore and is thrilled to return to the Conservatory stage after participating in last year’s Acting STAS All in the Timing. He recently performed in Performance Edge’s Summer Showcase and Green Hope High School’s production of Disney’s Tarzan. He also performs with Cary Players, Applause!, Cary Youth Theatre, and sings with the Raleigh Boy Choir Young Men’s Ensemble.
