Target Student Preview Night (SPN) was created by North Carolina Theatre to give all students and educators the opportunity to see a Broadway musical at a discounted rate. A talkback session immediately follows all SPN performances, giving the audience an opportunity to speak with members of the cast and crew.
All Target Student Preview Nights take place on the Friday before the show opens to the public at 7 p.m. at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
All tickets to Target Student Preview Night are $10 for students and educators with a valid student/educator I.D. To purchase tickets, call the NC Theatre Box Office at 919-831-6941 x6944. All tickets are held at will call and are available for pick up from 6-7 p.m. the night of the performance with your student/educator I.D. The same deal is available one hour prior to show time during the regular run of the show. |
Season Tickets for Target Student Preview Night are available and are only $40 for the entire season. When you purchase a season ticket you will receive the same seats for every show and save money on handling fees!

2011 Target Student Preview Night Prices:
Purchase a season ticket to Target Student Preview Night and save! Season Tickets are only $50 per person with a savings of $10 each (compared to the single ticket price). To receive the Target Student Preview Night discount, you must show a valid student or teacher I.D. To purchase a season ticket, call the NC Theatre Box Office at 919-831-6941 x6944.
Single tickets for Target Student Preview Night are $15, and do not go on sale until Monday, November 29th. |

Exchanges for the student preview night season subscribers will not be
allowed due to the difference in price for regular tickets, but you may to
give your tickets to other students/teachers to pick up in your name and
show their IDs. NCT encourages you to come during the regular run of the
show and purchase student/teacher rush tickets one hour prior to the curtain
for the same deal, so that you do not miss our great productions. |
