North Carolina Theatre Conservatory for the
Performing Arts Parents Committee

The North Carolina Theatre’s Conservatory for the Performing Arts Parents Committee (hereafter referred to as the Parents Committee) is organized for the purpose of ensuring that the Conservatory be linked in a cohesive way to the NCT organization - through advocacy, outreach, and oversight. The Parents Committee shall support the programs and purposes of the Conservatory and the North Carolina Theatre, and shall work toward positive influences in the community, including financial support.

SCHOLARSHIPS - The North Carolina Theatre offers scholarships for the conservatory classes and for our Summer Theatre Arts School. These scholarships are made possible by generous gifts from both Public and Private Donors. To apply for a scholarship for classes at the conservatory, please download the following application and return with any support materials and a conservatory registration form to hpking@nctheatre.com.

A committee term is for two years with the option of extending that to one additional term. When an opening occurs, the questionnaires will be placed in a lottery to fill the vacancy. You will be notified when a vacancy occurs to ascertain your interest in serving at that time.
