Get the ultimate professional preparation for your audition for NC Theatre's upcoming productions of Oliver! or Legally Blonde The Musical. The Conservatory is offering two five-week boot camps that will focus on vocal training, choreography and all important quick-study techniques used in your audition.
Oliver! Audition Audition Boot Camp Info:
Thursdays from 4:30-5:30PM: February 2-March 1, 2012
Ages: 6-10
Cost: $150
Must be a registered student for the spring semester
Thursdays from 5:30-6:30PM: February 2-March 1, 2012
Ages: 11-14
Cost: $150
Must be a registered student for the spring semester
In order to be considered for the show, all children (boys and girls!) should be no taller than 5'3", look ages 6-14 and be able to sing in the soprano vocal range (boys should have unchanged voices). Girls will be cast in boys' roles. Students registered in the Oliver! Audition Boot Camp will have audition priority. Participation in this class does not guarantee a role in North Carolina Theatre's production of Oliver!
Please note: rehearsals for kids cast in Oliver! will begin Saturday, June 23rd. Oliver! will run July 15th through July 22nd. There will be rehearsals the week of July 4th including the actual holiday. Please do not plan to audition if you have any conflicts during this month long time frame.
Legally Blonde The Musical Audition Boot Camp Info:
Thursdays from 6:30-7:30PM: March 8-April 5, 2012
Ages: teen/adult
Cost: $150
Open to the public
NC Theatre is casting males and females who appear to be college-age and are strong singers and dancers. Those registered in the class will have audition priority. Participation in this class does not guarantee a role in NC Theatre's production of Legally Blonde The Musical.
Please note: Legally Blonde The Musical rehearsals for locals will begin on Saturday, September 22nd, and the show will run October 7th through the 14th. Non-equity, local cast members will need to plan to be available for tech rehearsals from 12PM to 12AM on October 4th, 5th and 9th. Otherwise, rehearsal calls will be at night and on weekends.

Tue 21 Feb 2012 03:40 PMHi Hunter, spring registration is closed now BUT you can still sign up for Legally Blonde boot camp since that is a separate class. I believe you just have to do it before March 8, which is the start date. Just call the Conservatory at 919-855-0015 and they will get you in the class. Thanks!
