August 01, 2017
The North Carolina Theatre Conservatory  Acting Summer Theatre Arts School proudly presents Thornton Wilder's Pultizer-Prize winning, Our Town.  Our Town is a landmark in American drama that tells the story of a small town, Grover's Corners, New Hampshire.Throughout various characters in this small town, Wilder delivers universal truths about what it means to be human. This play offers humor, wit, and exceptionally powerful storytelling.  There will be 18 conservatory students performing various roles within the play. Our Town will be showing August 11-13, at the Conservatory Theatre. We will be highlighting each conservatory student over a series of "Cast Spotlights". Today's spotlight looks at Gabriella Bottomley, Tyler Brabandt, and Sierra Corcoran.
GABRIELLA BOTTOMLEY is playing the roles of Rebecca Gibbs and Si Crowell. She is extremely proud to be joining the cast of Our Town. This is her first on stage performance. Gabriella is 14 years old and will be entering Cary High School this year. She enjoys dance, acting, and spending time with family. Her dream is to study acting and film in New York.
TYLER BRABANDT will be an Ensemble cast member. He is super excited but also very sad for his last show with NC Theatre Conservatory. He will be attending Eastern Carolina University this fall as an intended acting major. He would like to thank everyone at the Conservatory for all the love, support, and memorable experiences.
SIERRA CORCORAN will be playing the role of Mrs. Webb. She is excited to be a part of her first NC Theatre Conservatory show.
