Cast Spotlight: OUR TOWN

The North Carolina Theatre Conservatory  Acting Summer Theatre Arts School proudly presents Thornton Wilder's Pultizer-Prize winning, Our Town.  Our Town is a landmark in American drama that tells the story of a small town, Grover's Corners, New Hampshire.Throughout various characters in this small town, Wilder delivers universal truths about what it means to be human. This play offers humor, wit, and exceptionally powerful storytelling.  There will be 18 conservatory students performing various roles within the play. Our Town will be showing August 11-13, at the Conservatory Theatre. Today's cast spotlight shines on Owen Hines and Carolina Lipson. 
OWEN HINES will be playing the roles of Professor Willard and Simon Stimson. He is a rising junior at Longleaf School of the Arts. His past credits include Legally Blonde, when he starred as Warner Huntington III and The True Tragedy of Macbeth, where he played The Doctor. 
CAROLINE LIPSON will be performing as an Ensemble cast member. She is thrilled to be part of Our Town. She’s a rising ninth grader at Leesville Road High School. Caroline appeared in last year’s Acting STAS production of All In The Timing as well as Master STAS productions of Oklahoma!, Crazy for You, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She has also been in four NC Theatre productions.
