Meet the AIT Cast: Part 1

In just a few days, NC Theatre Conservatory will showcase the very best of its student actors in the first Acting Summer Theatre Arts School. The premiere production will be All in the Timing, written by David Ives, which is comprised of six, one-act comedies that explore themes of language, love, and hope. Playing the roles of "Bill" and "Al" will be Dalton Forster, a rising senior at Garner Magnet High School. This is Dalton's first show with the NC Theatre Conservatory. Dalton most recently starred as "Troy Bolton" in his school’s production of Disney’s High School Musical.
Austin Harger will appear as "Mark" and "Trotsky" in his NC Theatre Conservatory debut. His previous credits include Cary Players’ It’s a Wonderful Life (Young George), A Christmas Story (Randy) and The Wizard of Oz (Lollipop Guild). Additionally, Austin has appeared in many Applause! Cary Youth Theatre productions including The Hound of the Baskervilles (Barrymore), The Phantom Tollbooth (The Clock), Sing Down the Moon: Appalachian Wonder Tales (Jack), and The Little Prince (King).
William Kalland, rising freshman at Cary High School, will play "Philip" and "Don" in his first NCTC production. William recently appeared as "Peter" in Theater Raleigh’s The Wolf, "Billy Ray Jr." in Judson Theater Company’s On Golden Pond and "Jem" in their 2012 production of To Kill a Mockingbird. He has also performed on the Applause! Cary Youth Theater stage in Hound of the Baskervilles, Old Dry Frye, Sing Down the Moon: Appalachian Wonder Tales and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court. Other credits include Raleigh LittleTheater’s Junie B. Jones and Cary Playwrights’ Forum staged readings.
