Brief info
Dylan is a Raleigh based actor/singer/dancer/choreographer who strives to live his most authentic life. Theatre brought him a sense of belonging and community that he has yet to find anywhere else. After discovering his passion in high school— Dylan went to Western Carolina University’s School of Stage & Screen to pursue his BFA in Acting with a minor in Dance. Prior to attending college, the most dancing he had done was a grapevine into a three step turn! After taking his very first dance class, and a major fitness journey, Dylan made it his goal to strengthen his dance abilities. By taking every dance class offered, some more than once for the pure experience, he was able to confidently call himself a dancer! As a teaching artist, Dylan takes a massive responsibility in ensuring that students feel safe. Theatre is an incredibly beautiful and vulnerable space to play in sometimes. It is imperative the student know that they are perfect as they are and deserve to take up as much space as they want/need. As Dylan credits a majority of his dance training to his collegiate years, he understands how it feels to not be comfortable with certain aspects of performance. That is why he finds great joy in supporting fellow artists on their unique journey with creating art.
