Voice Teaching Artist
Brief info

Emily Arbour is a classically trained singer, voice instructor, and music director. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Vocal Performance in the mountains of western North Carolina at Appalachian State University. Emily has performed several lead and supporting roles with the Appalachian Opera Theatre, and has also been a featured soloist with the Appalachian Woodwind Chamber Ensemble, the Appalachian Chorale, and the Lake Junaluska Singers. Throughout her experiences, Emily has also enjoyed staging and performing scenes from musicals, such as West Side Story, Hamilton, Dogfight, A Little Night Music, Something Rotten!, and Kiss Me, Kate. Emily is just as passionate for teaching the next generation of singers as she is for performing. She firmly believes in embracing the passions and interests of her students, and she molds her teaching to help each student achieve their goals. Emily is thrilled to be returning for her second year as a teaching artist at the North Carolina Theatre Conservatory!
